Using the Advanced Search you can choose the categories you want to search in and directly search for a product, an editorial page (e.g. Product-Specials) or a new file (e.g. drivers).

How does the Advanced Search work?

		To access the Advanced Search just click on the small icon positioned left of the search form or click the link "Advanced Search" in the Tools-portlet on the right side.

		By clicking the lens-icon or the link a page appears that lets you adjust the search features and the boolean criteria (and, or, not).

		Via da "Advanced Search" in menu you can define a search field to for example only search for products, editorial pages or files.

Modelled on your search the page will be reloaded again to provide you a structured search result, that ist grouped by single products, product types, editorial pages and files (e.g. drivers). When no editorial page for a search term was found this group of course won`t appear in your search result.

Tips & Tricks

1.	AND-Operator: Use the AND-Operator to constrain the search result by combining two search terms. So for example search for 'memory cards' AND 'CompactFlash' if you don`t want to get all memory card formats.

2.	OR-Operator: Use the OR-Operator if search terms are used synonymously ('memory card' OR 'memory medium') or if you want to search for two product types at the same time (CompactFlash OR SmartMedia).

3.	NOT-Operator: Use the (AND) NOT-Operator to exclude a specific part of your search result. For example you`ll type in 'memory cards' AND NOT 'xD-Picture Card' to get all memory card formats without the 'xD-Picture Card'.
